How do I fill in a form?
- Click Fill in a form at the top of the page.
- Click Choose PDF and pick your form. The blank spaces are outlined in blue.
- Click a blue box and type. For a tick box, just click it.
- To sign, click Sign, draw your signature with your mouse or finger, and click Use signature.
- Click Download PDF. Your filled-in form goes to your Downloads folder.
Can it fill in my name and details for me?
Yes. In the form editor, type your details once under My details on the left. Next time, click Fill in my details and they go into the right boxes. Always check them before you send the form.
Is it safe? Do you see my files?
No, we never see your files. Everything happens on your own computer or phone, and nothing is sent to us.
Where is the file after I download it?
In your Downloads folder. On Windows, open File Explorer and click Downloads on the left. On a Mac, open Finder and click Downloads. On a phone, look in the Files app.
My PDF is too big to email or upload. What do I do?
Use Make a PDF smaller. Choose your file, keep the Recommended setting, and download the smaller copy.
I have photos of a document. How do I make them a PDF?
Use Turn photos into a PDF. You can pick several photos at once, and use the arrows to put them in order.
It says my PDF is locked with a password.
Type the password when asked. It's the same one you use to open the file. If you don't know it, ask whoever sent you the file. There's no way around a password you don't have.
Something went wrong or a button does nothing.
Try refreshing the page and starting again. Using an up-to-date Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox helps. If it still doesn't work, email us at [email protected] and say which task you were doing.
Does it cost anything?
